DNS guide

Manage DNS zones and records through Vorynza DNS. Full hosting with PowerDNS, proxy support, and security gateway.

Vorynza DNS is a managed DNS platform powered by PowerDNS. Create zones, manage records, enable proxy for DDoS protection, and configure the security gateway — all from your project dashboard.

Quickstart

1. Add a domain

In your project dashboard, navigate to DNS and add a domain. Vorynza scans the domain's current nameservers and discovers existing records automatically.

2. Choose hosting mode

  • Full hosting — Vorynza manages your DNS via PowerDNS. Point your domain to Vorynza nameservers (ns1.ns.vorynza.cloud, ns2.ns.vorynza.cloud).
  • External — You manage your own DNS elsewhere. Vorynza tracks the zone for reference or for mail DNS auto-configuration.

3. Point your nameservers

For full hosting, update your registrar's nameservers to:

ns1.ns.vorynza.cloud
ns2.ns.vorynza.cloud

4. Add records

Create A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, or CAA records. Optionally enable proxy to route traffic through Vorynza's edge network.

5. Verify the zone

Once nameservers propagate, verify the zone from the dashboard. Vorynza checks that your domain resolves through the Vorynza nameservers.

Only full hosting zones support record CRUD, proxy, and the security gateway.
